Donington Testing...

Nye arrived at Donington with a series of firsts. This was his first time driving at Donington, his first time in the new 2025 GB4 car and his first time with his new team RossoVerde Scorpio.

Whilst the excitement of driving the new car was high, the weather hadn’t ready the script with conditions being dull and overcast, with wet conditions come wet tyres. However, Nye quickly got into his rhythm, with four sessions overall. His first session had a best lap time of 1:25.3 whereas this reduce steadily during the day to a final session of 1:14.1, which would have been enough to have secured pole position if this was qualification. Overall Donington was a great day of testing, meeting the team and starting to build a rapport with Will and Louis.
